Project Support Officer (Interim)

Join EIT as Project Support Officer (Interim) for the duration of 6 months (with possibility of extension).

The tasks will be focused on the design and development of creative and compelling communication materials for the EIT.

Tasks:

  • Operationally support the EIT Director and Head of Director’s Office in the coordination of the EUAN network operations during their time as Troika members
  • Liaise with other EU Agencies, the Support Office of the EUAN or external contractors upon request of the Head of Director’s Office
  • Provide operational support to the PDN and NAPO EUAN Sub-Networks operations
  • Support organization of EUAN meetings, and in particular the Head of Agencies meeting in Budapest in October 2024, and represent the EIT in meetings of the Agency network
  • Drafting briefings, notes, reports
  • Supporting planning, monitoring and tracking implementation of the EUAN files and liaising with internal and external stakeholders under supervision of the Head of Section (HoS)
  • On request and under supervision of the HoS communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the EUAN files
  • Support procurement processes and contract management tasks for the Directorate
  • Support operations of the EIT Governing Board, and in particular support in preparation of the EIT Governing Board meetings and operations of the EIT Governing Board Advisory Groups
  • Support operations of the Directorate upon request of the HoS

Professional experience:

  • Experience with EU organisations or international policies or programmes
  • Experience in public affairs/ stakeholder management, coordination of meetings and briefings in a multinational context
  • Evidenced experience with drafting reports from meeting, notes, presentations and organisation of

Advantageous

  • Experience in working with EU institutions, bodies or Agencies
  • Experience with EU administration support (including familiarity of financial and procurement rules and procedures)

Qualifications:

  • Completed university degree.

Language skills:

  • Excellent/Proficient command of the English language (C1 Level based on the Common Framework of Reference Languages)

IT Skills:

  •  Computer literacy and in particular good knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Office and Internet

Other Skills:

  • Work proactive and highly independent and able to communicate and draft reports in an efficient and effective manner. Prioritising and excellent organisation skills.
