Women Investment Network: Investment Forums

Introducing Supernovas Investment Forums:

  • For investors:  One stimulating hour of women-led start-ups pitches, to grasp the potential of the opportunity, fit with investors’ strategy and portfolio and meet other investors. After the meeting, Supernovas will support you in identifying other interested investors in the start-ups presenting and to explore the next steps.
  • For start-ups: A unique opportunity to reach out to international investors after a carefully curated process that includes support to fine-tune your presentation deck to an international crowd of investors.

What kind of start-ups will participate?

  • Female founded (at least a woman in the founding team) or female-led start-ups (female CEO)
  • Sector& Focus: in 2024 Supernovas will hold investment forums in Food, Manufacturing, Mobility and Energy.

Start-ups

For the Manufacturing Investment Forum (May 29), Supernovas is looking for start-ups with the following requirements:

  • Focus & sectors
  • Female founded (at least a woman in the founding team) or female-led start-ups (female CEO)
  • Funds sought from EUR 1 to 5 million

Investors

Supernovas welcomes angel investors, venture capital funds and other private investors such as corporations and family businesses active in the early-stage investment space and committed to increasing their share in female founders in their portfolio. Targeted investors are looking for up to Series A deals in Europe and across a variety of sectors.

Supernovas offers start-ups a careful balance in terms of the degree of maturity and development of the products, geographical diversity, market size and business areas. Start-ups have been carefully selected by the EIT programme SUPERNOVAS from its broad network of high and deeptech partners in the ecosystem and is supported by a seasoned panel of investors to shortlist and select the most promising start-ups.
