Seconded National Expert: Strategy Officer

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is now organising a call for expressions of interest with a view to establishing a reserve list for Seconded National Experts (SNEs) for the profile of Strategy Officer. 

The initial period of secondment may not be less than six months or more than two years. The place of employment will be Budapest, where the EIT Headquarters are located.

The Strategy and Impact Unit is leading EIT’s strategy development across its main domains including education, business creation and innovation agendas. The Unit conducts reviews, evaluations and assessments. The Units works on the analysis and evaluation of economic and societal impacts of the EIT and its Knowledge and Innovation Communities’ (KICs) and engages in activities to enhance the impacts of EIT. The Strategy and Impact Unit is leading the development of the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme, the EIT Awards, the EIT Alumni programmes and the implementation of the principles on KICs’ Financial Sustainability and KICs’ strategies for financial sustainability.

Reporting to the Head of Unit Strategy and Impact, the jobholder will primarily contribute to EIT’s strategy development across its domains, impact analysis and evaluation of economic and societal impacts of the EIT and its Knowledge and Innovation Communities’ (KICs’) and engage in activities to enhance the impacts of EIT.
