How can I attend the EIT Awards?

The EIT Awards 2020 is an online-only event.

Will there be a livestream of the EIT Awards?

Yes. Both days of the EIT Awards will be streamed live. The nominees for the EIT Awards 2020 will pitch live to the jury on 8 December. On 9 December, the winners will be announced live - watch the livestream. Details of timing to follow.

Do I need to register to follow the EIT Awards online event?

You do not need to register to watch the livestream.

EIT Awards

The EIT Awards have five categories:

1. EIT CHANGE Award
2. EIT Innovators Award
3. EIT Public (Citizen) Award
4. EIT Venture Award 
5. EIT Woman Leadership & Entrepreneurship Award

Do the EIT Awards have prizes?

The Venture, CHANGE, Innovators, and Woman Leadership Awards, each have the following prizes:

1. 1st prize EUR 50 000
2. 2nd prize EUR 20 000
3. 3rd prize EUR 10 000

Additionally, each Award benefits from Europe-wide promotional activities.

The Public Award has no monetary prize, but like the other Awards, benefits from Europe-wide promotional activities.

How can I vote in the EIT Public (Citizen) Award?

Voting opens on 16 November, and closes at midnight on 8 December.
