Useful information

INNOVEIT 2019 will take place on 15 October in the Akvárium Klub, a unique cultural centre in the heart of downtown Budapest next to Deák tér (Square) where Metro lines M1, M2 and M3 meet.

How to get to the venue

We encourage everyone to use public transport. The closest Metro stop to the Akvárium Klub is Deák tér (M1, M2 and M3 metro lines), which is only one minute on foot from the venue. 

Public transport from the airport: Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport is approximately 20 km east of the Akvárium Klub. Direct bus line 100E connects the airport and the city centre every 30 minutes and takes about 40 to 50 minutes. For the Akvárium Klub, get off the bus at Deák tér (terminus) and walk about 100m to the Akvárium Klub. A special ticket must be purchased for bus 100E. Further information regarding bus line 100E is provided by the Centre for Budapest Transport (Budapesti Közlekedési Központ, BKK).

Tickets

At the airport, tickets for public transport can be purchased from customer service points of BKK in Terminals 2A (daily 8:00–22:00) and 2B (daily 9:00–21:00), from the post office, newsagents (Relay), and ticket machines at transport stops. Tickets are also available from the bus driver, but at a higher price.

Parking

Erzsébet Square has an underground public car park available to all. There are no spaces reserved for INNOVEIT attendees and parking must be paid for by attendees at their own cost.

From the airport to the city centre

Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport is approximately 20 km east of the Akvárium Klub and is serviced by public transport and an airport shuttle bus.

Public transport from the airport: Direct bus line 100E connects the airport and the city centre every 30 minutes and takes about 40 to 50 minutes. Further information regarding bus line 100E is provided by the Centre for Budapest Transport (Budapesti Közlekedési Központ, BKK).

Airport shuttle bus: The airport shuttle service, operated by miniBud, needs to be booked in advance and will pick you up at the arrival floor of the airport. Please find further information and individual prices on the miniBUD website.
