EIT Awareness Day in Austria

The EIT: The Future of European Innovation

We are glad to invite you to the event “The EIT: The Future of European Innovation” on 12 October 2018, from 9:30 am–2 pm, at the Chamber of Commerce (WKO) in Linz, Austria.

Explore the opportunities

Innovation is key for economic success in a knowledge-driven industry and society. Business Upper Austria, the Chamber of Commerce Upper Austria, and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) are organising a conference to discuss the future of innovation in Europe with relevant national and international stakeholders. Organisations and individuals from all sides of the so-called Knowledge Triangle (business, education and research) are invited to participate in the event, meet representatives and contribute actively to the discussions.

Invited guests include President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani, Member of the European Parliament Paul Rübig, EIT Interim Director Martin Kern, and European Patent Office Director Margot Fröhlinger and Vice Governor of the province of Upper Austria Michael Strugl.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet representatives of the six EIT Innovation Communities, will learn about the EIT Community’s results and activities, and how to get involved with the EIT.

The event will be held in English. Attendance is free of charge!
