Commission staff working document on the interim evaluation of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)

The evaluation covered the activities of EIT and Innovation Communities in the period 2011-2015, though evidence for the years 2010 and 2016 was included in the analysis whenever evidence was available and added value to the study. The evaluation took into account the specific EIT objectives associated with the Horizon 2020 Regulation that entered into force in December 2013.

The evaluation covered the entire geographical scope of the EIT and its Innovation Communities' activities.
