EIT Digital Braga Satellite opening

Join us on 26 June in Braga, Portugal, for the opening of EIT Digital's latest Satellite!

The EIT Digital Braga Satellite is a milestone in the convergence of EIT Digital’s and Portugal’s strategy for digital transformation in industry, economy and society.

Key speakers include the Portuguese Minister of Economy, Pedro Siza Vieira, the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, and the Minister of Planning, Nelson Souza.

EIT Digital's first Satellite in Portugal will focus on three core tasks:

• Engagement of industrial and knowledge partners from the Portuguese ecosystem in EIT Digital’s Focus Areas (Digital Cities, Digital Finance, Digital Industry, Digital Tech, Digital Wellbeing). 
• Proactive scouting and coordination of impactful opportunities for collaborative innovation commercialisation by companies and universities across Portugal. 
• Design, organisation and delivery of networking activities between the business and academic communities in Portugal and the EU-wide EIT Digital ecosystem in order to achieve mutual cooperation, programme alignment and commercial success.

The Satellite will serve all regions of Portugal.
