Naked Energy was one of the 9 companies selected by EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (here, Climate-KIC) for the EIT Awards 2012.
The elevator pitch: Naked Energy has developed a hybrid product that combines photovoltaic and solar thermal technologies, generating both hot water and electricity and allowing the customer to get more useable energy per square metre than standard technology.
The founders: Christophe Williams (managing director/founder) is the commercial impetus behind Naked Energy. He has worked as a senior creative executive in the advertising industry for over 15 years, dealing with such clients as Microsoft, BMW, Sony and various UK government departments, such as the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the Central Office of Information on specific sustainability projects.
