In a genuine open atmosphere all parties exchanged views and thoughts on the state of play of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KIC), and the required positioning for the period 2014-2020.
Both guests acknowledged the past performance of KIC InnoEnergy in its first year of operation which includes the education of 155 top selected students in the new KIC InnoEnergy Masters, the filing of 13 patents and the delivery of 27 new products and services created in the 35 on-going Innovation Projects, as well as the 52 ventures currently nurtured in KIC InnoEnergy’s European incubator, the Highway™.
