Seven winners of the EIT Digital Venture Programme have raised close to EUR 400 000 in private investment in less than three months after incorporating their start-ups.

This week marked the end of the final phase of the EIT Digital Venture Programme, which began in early September, when 28 teams from Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltics and Southern Europe completed a two-month online pre-acceleration programme.

After developing their Minimum Viable Product and incorporating their start-up, the teams started engaging with private investors. In less than three months, seven teams from seven European regions successfully raised close to EUR 400 000 from private investors. Based on this achievement, the seven start-ups were also awarded an additional EUR 70 000 in co-investment from EIT Digital.

The winning teams are:

  1. GetBoarded Technologies (Portugal)
  2. Revolab (Lithuania)
  3. OPTIFOOD (Slovenia)
  4. Omnio (Bulgaria)
  5. Evelon (Portugal)
