The admissions portal for the EIT Digital Master School is now open for all students who want to learn how to turn technology into business.

Students can apply for a two-year programme and be awarded upon graduation, two Masters' degrees from two top technical universities, plus a certificate from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The EIT Digital Master School is a European network of top-tech Universities.

The first application period for 2022 will close on 3 February 2022 at 17:00 CET.

The EIT Digital Master School combines technical education on emerging technologies with entrepreneurial education.

"The future of work is digital talent, however, finding and recruiting this talent remains the biggest bottleneck to an organization’s growth and innovation. Our aim at the EIT Digital Master School is to create and foster top digital talent to elevate European technology innovation competitiveness. The industry needs people who just not understand the new emerging technologies, but also know how to use these technologies in business. We prepare our students on these needs".

Roberto Prieto, Chief Education Officer at EIT Digital

Innovation and entrepreneurship classes and real-time exercises are the red-thread throughout the two-year programmes. Graduating students, therefore, are able to turn deep tech into business.

Within the EIT Digital Master School students can choose from seven technical Master School programmes:

  • Autonomous Systems
  • Cloud and Network Infrastructures
  • Data Science
  • Cyber Security
  • Embedded Systems
  • Fintech
  • Human Computer Interaction and Design

In 2022, the programmes can be followed throughout Europe within the network of 16 top tech universities and research and industry partners across Europe. By studying at EIT Digital, students are part of a unique ecosystem of entrepreneurs, companies, researchers and alumni across the whole of Europe. During the two-year course of study, students learn at two different universities in two countries, complete a work placement and also participate in a two-week summer school programme.

Current and alumni students say the EIT Digital Master School is more than just a master. They praise the strong community and the close connections with the industry which they can benefit from. This is for example expressed by people from the networking welcoming all newly enrolled 300 students at the annual Kick-Off in 2021. After graduation, EIT Digital students continue collaboration and strengthening their mutual bondage in the vibrant, active and successful alumni network of EIT Digital.

"According to our latest alumni survey, 95% of our students are employed within six months after graduation and 93% remain active in their field of studies. An inevitable proof of the efficiency and quality of the EIT Digital Master programmes".

Roberto Prieto, Chief Education Officer at EIT Digital
