Coaches and mentors for Virtual Health E-Lab Heartbeat on COVID-19

The EIT Health Alumni, in collaboration with EIT Health E-Labs, are looking for mentors and coaches to work online, guiding teams of students in tackling challenges related to COVID-19.

Together with Erasmus Medical Centre, Institute Mines Telecom, Philips Healthcare, YES!Delft and many other industry partners, the TU Delft’s Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship (DCE) is organising a series of online workshops for students to find solutions to problems related to the present COVID-19 pandemic.

By Friday 24 April 2020, students will form teams and start tackling the challenges. To help student teams validate their ideas, we need mentors with expertise in health and well-being industry sectors, both with hands-on (e.g. hospital practitioner, med-tech product developer) or business experience (health industry consultant). Mentoring will take about one hour a week during the programme and includes virtual meetings during which you offer guidance and feedback to the teams.

Challenge information

  • Challenges are sourced from hospitals, are hands on and have direct demand
  • Solutions will focus on prevention, medical frontline, elderly and mental care, and overall social well-being

How to get involved

To take part in these challenges as mentors and coaches, apply directly through the EIT Health Alumni platform.

The first workshop starts on 24 April 2020, but applications will be open until 1 May.

Members of the EIT Health Alumni Network will be given priority in selection.
