Clean tech start-up binee wins financial support from EIT RawMaterials
The EIT has played an important role in the development of binee, which designs sustainable recycling systems. Martin, binee's managing director, participated in EIT Climate-KIC's The Journey in 2014, and met Marilu, binee's lead designer, at the EIT's annual INNOVEIT conference in Budapest. Marilu was looking for inspiring projects in the field of sustainability and tech. Marilu heard about binee and found the project fascinating from a design point of view, demonstrating how the EIT connects entrepreneurial individuals.
Winning the U-Star competition, jointly by EIT RawMaterials and Veolia, gave binee, a start-up based in Leipzig, financial support from the EIT.
