EIT Manufacturing and Standortagentur Tirol join forces for manufacturing excellence

During Standortagentur Tirol's technology brunch, EIT Manufacturing, signed a new cooperation agreement. The target groups of this partnership are primarily Tyrolean start-ups, SMEs and research institutions from the manufacturing industry. This agreement opens up a gateway for them to tap into EIT Manufacturing's innovation network.

Standortagentur Tirol and EIT Manufacturing's cooperation focuses on various aspects. The main goal is to strengthen the innovation capacity of the organisations in the region, for example, by promoting cross-border cooperation and supporting innovation projects that lead to the development of new products and services. Another goal is to position Tyrol as an outstanding innovation location and to promote open innovation.

We are proud to be able to support and connect Tyrolean companies at European level through this partnership. The Standortagentur Tirol is a driver for innovation in the region and the instruments and programmes of EIT Manufacturing will offer additional opportunities for manufacturing companies to develop and implement innovations

Johannes Hunschofsky, Managing Director, EIT Manufacturing East

In order to facilitate communication and cooperation between partners, a dedicated contact person will be appointed within Standortagentur Tirol. This person will act as a link between the interested organisations and EIT Manufacturing in order to promote cooperation. Furthermore, joint workshops and events will take place to fuel knowledge exchange and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

Manufacturing is the basis for prosperity and economic, social and environmental sustainability in many European countries. Cooperation is the key to maintaining and further expanding Europe’s pioneering role in this sector. We at Standortagentur Tirol are excited to contribute our expertise in innovation management.

Marcus Hofer, Managing Director of the Standortagentur Tirol

This groundbreaking cooperation marks a significant step for Tyrolean manufacturing businesses and industrial companies. The close connection to EIT Manufacturing opens up a wide range of opportunities for innovation and growth, and at the same time strengthens Tyrol’s position as a pioneer in the field of industrial development.
