EIT Health partners aim to have COVID-19 vaccine ready and tested in a year

EIT Health core partner, University of Copenhagen, and associate partner Leiden Universitair Medisch Centrum, join four other partners in the ambitious Prevent-nCoV project, a consortium that wants to deliver an optimal vaccine against the COVID-19 virus.

Members of the consortium are all world-leading experts in their respective fields, covering all relevant areas of viral research and vaccine development. The consortium was just granted a EUR 2.7 million Horizon 2020 grant to further their ground breaking vaccine and conduct clinical studies within 12 months.
