On Saturday 6 March, the EIT Alumni Community will hold a session at the 2021 Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) Annual Conference.

The flagship event of the Marie Curie Alumni Association will take place online from 5 to 7 March and this year's theme will be 'Research in times of crisis'. Participants will have the chance to reflect on the effects that challenges, such as the current pandemic, can have on society, especially on research and the academic environment.

The three-day event will include exhibitions, networking sessions, the award ceremony and much more. On Saturday 6 March, the EIT Alumni Community will hold a session entitled 'Entrepreneurial journey: How to turn your idea into reality'.

Entrepreneurial journey: How to turn your idea into reality

The aim of the session will be to share with participants the journey of turning ideas into a successful project, guiding them on what is needed on the way, the support they should look for, and how to stay motivated. Participants will have the chance to learn about personal insights and testimonials from taking the entrepreneurial journey and find out the opportunities the EIT has to offer to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Representatives from EIT Community will provide practical insights on how to navigate the idea to project and its implementation including the role of collaboration and support that the EIT Community can provide. Q&A session is foreseen.
