EIT InnoEnergy: vilisto wins the PropTech Start-up Award

Congratulations to vilisto who won the audience over with their self-learning radiator thermostats at the Digit!mmo 2018 event in Oerlikon, Zürich, Switzerland.

The Digit!Immo event is a digitalisation convention focusing on innovation in the real estate industry. With more than 1 000 specialists in the field, this is an important event for discussions and knowledge exchanges around cross-industry changes in digital innovations.

Vilisto competed against nine other start-ups and during their two-minute pitch they showcased their self-learning radiator thermostats which impressed the audience. This innovation can save up to 35% of energy in offices and provide data based on room usage to help control wasted heat.

After winning funding from EIT InnoEnergy Investment Round in August 2017, and working with RheinEnergie AG in Cologne to save up to 30% of their heat loss, this was the next step forward for vilisto. Swiss PropTech Startup Award includes an invitation to MIPIM at Cannes, the worlds biggest real estate event, here vilisto will be able to present their innovation to the over 24,000 participants attending from 100+ countries.
