Josep-Miquel Torregrosa, business creation officer of EIT InnoEnergy Iberia, comments: 'After more than six years of accelerating and investing in start-ups and SMEs in the energy sector and clean technologies, we have used our experience and everything learned to design a program that contains the training and work sessions necessary for any entrepreneur to validate and launch a new product or service to the market.'

In addition, Mónica Puente, director of technological innovation at Gas Natural Fenosa, comments: 'Cleantech Camp is a very interesting initiative and one that has great potential to give value to the ideas and projects of entrepreneurs and innovative research groups. The program is made up of high-level professionals and at Gas Natural Fenosa we believe that they can help us develop initiatives that add value to our customers and contribute to the promotion of clean energy.'

The programme has a very dynamic format to prepare the business plan and validate the business idea with the program’s partners. The ultimate goal is for participants to validate the business idea with the market and create the appropriate implementation and launch strategy.

The travel and accommodation costs in the two cities where the program will be developed will be covered by the organization. In addition, the participants will have space in Barcelona Activa and in the Municipal Chamber of Porto and will have access to the Gas Natural Fenosa Innovation Hub for the development of the workshops.

Participants will be eligible for the investment programme of EIT InnoEnergy and may have access to an investment valued at EUR 500 000 in different phases once the programme ends.
