Alba Forns Albuixech

Alba Forns Albuixech (Spain) is COO and co-founder of Climatize, an impact investing platform bridging the climate finance gap by making it easy, transparent, and accessible to invest in renewable energy projects and potentially earn a return. Since launching in May 2023, over USD 2 000 000 have been invested in solar projects that support frontline communities via the Climatize platform. Climatize was born as a university project while Alba and her co-founder were pursuing their double master’s degree in renewable energy with EIT InnoEnergy.

Alba was recently selected as Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Impact 2023, is a Young Energy Ambassador for the European Commission, has been nominated for the Earthshot Prize 2024, and is actively involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem as a start-up mentor and public speaker. Her goal and mission in life is to fight for climate justice and inclusion. 

The EIT Community has changed my life. The programme has not only given me the tools to shape the future but has helped me pursue my dream: starting my own company to fight climate change.
