Since 2011 Prof. Dr. Christina Haak is Deputy Director General of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin – Preußischer Kulturbesitz and since 2017 also CDO and responsible for digital transformation within the Stiftung.

From 2009 until 2011 she was Head of Project Planning at the Directorate General of Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, from 2003 until 2008 Head of Project Management at the Museumslandschaft Hessen Kassel (former Staatliche Museen Kassel, from 2000 until 2003 she did academic work at the Museum für Kommunikation, Frankfurt am Main.

Since May 2018 Christina Haak is Vice-President of the Deutscher Museumsbund e.V. (German Museum Association).
