The EIT Community is launching a pilot programme called Action and Impact Group (AIG) to support partners and cutting-edge researchers and innovators in identifying, applying for, and securing regional, national, and European-level funding for urban mobility projects.

The Action and Impact Group (AIG) will deliver impact within the scope of the EIT Urban Mobility mission to create more liveable places, by creating and supporting consortiums tackling urban mobility challenges and accelerating change towards sustainable urban mobility models. The Action and Impact Groups will be organised by challenge area, and the initial challenge areas will be Future Mobility and Sustainable City Logistics.

EIT Urban Mobility extends a restricted invitation to join the AIG launch event taking place on Wednesday, 9 June from 9:30-10:30 (CEST).

Attendees will hear from EIT Urban Mobility CEO Maria Tsavachidis and thematic directors Lluis Puerto, Factory, and Gareth Macnaughton, Innovation, about the objectives and strategy of the AIG pilot. Afterwards, participants can join one of two breakout groups to learn more about the first two challenge areas – Future Mobility, coordinated by Delia Mitcan and Sustainable City Logistics, coordinated by Anna Clark. Participants will learn about programme roll-out and upcoming events.
