Save the date: Watch the 2024 EIT Awards Semi-Final

We're livestreaming the event on YouTube in the lead up to the 2024 EIT Awards on 20 February 2024. 

The EIT Community has nominated what it considers to be the cream of its crop of new innovators and entrepreneurs. The semi-finals on 14 February will decide which ones will advance to the 20 February finals. The nominees are competing in three categories:

• The Innovation Team Award, which celebrates and recognises the innovation team – made up of researchers, academics, and entrepreneurs – that developed the best unique product, service or process with high added value and breakthrough potential in their respective fields.
• The Changemaker Award, which celebrates and recognises the best role model and leader from within the EIT Community's education programmes, and whose activities and achievements have the potential to generate a significant social impact.
• The Venture Award, which celebrates and recognises the company with the greatest potential to generate a significant impact on citizens, specific markets, innovation ecosystems, and the economy overall, addressing major societal challenges.

You will also get to pick your favourite innovation with the Public Award. Voting for the Public Award opens on 14 February and the winner will be unveiled at the 2024 EIT Awards.

What are the EIT Awards?

The EIT Awards are an integral part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)'s flagship event: the EIT Summit. The EIT Awards celebrate the entrepreneurial and societal achievements of innovators from within the EIT Community, Europe's largest innovation ecosystem. We're working to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs across Europe by highlighting our Community's ground-breaking innovations and the teams behind them.  We'll showcase how our innovation ecosystem supports the development of entrepreneurial skills, products and services addressing some of Europe's biggest challenges.
