The EIT Community stories you may have missed this last week of January 2019

The week started with a positive health story from EIT Health (of course) on fighting superbugs

Tuesday saw the EIT announcing a partnership with Vodafone on the Digitising Europe Summit in February. Keynote speaker: Angela Merkel. Not bad, eh?

On Wednesday, the Global Cleantech 100 list was announced. Nine EIT Community supported innovative companies were included. When you consider that 13 900 companies from 93 countries were nominated, you get an idea of how tough it was to make the cut.

On Thursday we heard that Mimica Labs, whose founder, Solveiga Pakstaite, received support from EIT Climate-KIC, were making more headlines. This time, Mimica Labs were named by Techworld as their top 'UK greentech start-up to watch'.

Also on Thursday, two EIT community initiatives nominated for a European Association Award.

And finally, today we announced that application is open for the 2019 EIT Community Jumpstarter programme. The programme is nominated for a European Association Award.
