Startup Activation Contest

This is the newest in a series of activities in the context of the EIT ICT Labs Outreach Programme 2013. The best two ideas in this contest will win a prize of 30.000 EUR to spend on getting their idea closer to the market.

We wish to engage startups from countries outside the existing EIT ICT Labs network of nodes and associate nodes and we invite startups from these countries to participate in a call for proposals: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Themes and topics

We welcome ideas in information and communication technology - in particular ideas focusing on cyber-physical systems (including the internet of things, embedded systems) and future cloud. Your ideas will be evaluated by experts in these fields in addition to business developers who focus on the martket potential of your idea.

Submission

We invite individuals and beginning startups to submit their business idea. To participate, please fill in this submission form and submit the completed form by email by 23 October 2013.

Final Round in Berlin

The best proposals will be invited to perform a pitch before a jury on 25 November 2013 in Berlin, where the two winners of this year’s Startup Activation Contest will be determined.
