The EIT Awards create role models for change and elevate innovations that most effectively address societal challenges in climate change, digitalisation, renewable energy, health, raw materials, food, smart manufacturing, and urban mobility.
The EIT Awards celebrate Europe's brightest entrepreneurs and innovators within the EIT ecosystem, recognising excellence across four inspiring categories:
- Most Promising EIT Changemaker: A standout leader and role model whose impactful activities have the power to create significant social impact.
- Best Innovation Team: A diverse group from across the knowledge triangle, pioneering a groundbreaking product or service with transformative potential.
- Most Promising Venture: An emerging startup within the EIT Community demonstrating exceptional promise and growth potential.
- The Public Award: The community’s favourite innovation, selected by public vote.

Woman Innovators Rise to the Top in the EIT and EIC’s European Women Innovators Prize!
The European Prize for Women Innovators celebrates women entrepreneurs behind Europe's most ground-breaking innovations. The prize awards women from across the EU and countries associated with Horizon Europe, whose disruptive innovations are driving positive change for people and the planet.
Prize Categories and Awards:
- EIC Women Innovators category: Open to women founders and co-founders from the EU and Associated Countries. Three prizes of €100 000, €70 000 and €50 000 are awarded to the three highest-ranked applications.
- EIC Rising Innovators category: Targeting promising innovators under the age of 35. Three prizes of €50 000, €30 000 and €20 000 are awarded to the three highest-ranked applications.
- EIT Women Leadership category: Focused on women with a direct link to the EIT Community. Three prizes of €50 000, €30 000 and €20 000 are awarded to the three highest-ranked applications.
