W-Sense (Italy), which pioneers real-time control and monitoring of underwater activities, bridging big data from the ocean to the cloud for a sustainable blue economy. Through wireless solutions, the technology enables cost-effective data collection for environmental, noise, asset, structural, and camera monitoring, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability. W-Sense has a significant impact on Sustainable Development Goal 14, offering visibility into underwater activities, promoting measurability, accountability, and enforcing laws for environmental protection. W-Sense's positive impact has earned recognition, winning the EIT Digital Challenge scaleup in 2022 and receiving fundraising support for Series A. 

 

Being a pioneer of underwater telecommunication now, we are working to take W-Sense as the main player within the Internet of Underwater Things (IoUT).
