Chief Environmental Officer, Northvolt
Dr Emma Nehrenheim did her PhD in the area of water and waste recycling in the metal industry.
Her leading positions in the research field include a Professor position in Environmental Engineering, as well as Director of Research for the Future Energy research team at Mälardalen University. The group comprises more than 40 researchers within energy and environmental engineering.
Before joining Northvolt, during the start-up phase in 2017, Emma Nehrenheim has held leading business positions towards the Power Generation sector with ABB. At Nothvolt, she has been responsible for environmental and social compliance, utilities investments and building a business on recycling of end-of-life LIB's.
