Decision 14/2018 of the Governing Board of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology

(1) The EIT has launched a selection procedure for new EIT Governing Board members on 28 March 2018 and published a call for expression of interest with the aim to select two new members of the EIT Governing Board.

(2) On 21 April 2018, one Governing Board Member tendered his resignation to the EIT in his capacity as EIT Governing Board Member. His mandate as EIT Governing Board member would have ended on 30 June 2020.

Therefore, in view of the opening of a new position within the Governing Board, Decision 8/2018 of the Governing Board of the EIT of 22 March 2018 on the Selection process of new EIT Governing Board members and its annex should be amended accordingly. The deadline for submission of applications should be extended.
