Climate-KIC: Professional course - Social entrepreneurship and innovation

Take part in this two-day Climate-KIC professional course in Budapest, Hungary, on 9 and 10 December 2013

Environmental sustainability in business sounds attractive and green – but is it?

Usually discussions on this topic in the business world are shallow and hard to apply to your own business. The course aims to demonstrate how businesses go to the heart of innovation to benefit their own organization, customers, and even the environment.

The course is organised by Climate-KIC Central Hungary partners NEGOS Ltd, and by the Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency Enterprise Europe Network.

Presenters include experts form the Central European University of Budapest, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and other world-class institutions.

Green growth

This course defines Green Growth and demonstrates the tools to make your organisation a green growth entreprise.

You will leave this course with a clear understanding of how to improve and transform your organisation. The opportunities present – because of environmental and societal change – will also inform your long term perspective of adjusting your business to matching technological change.

Who is the course for?

The course is designed for any professional whose goal is to lead or influence sustainability-related change processes, whether you are currently in a sustainability role or not. The only prerequisite is an interest for the skills and tools to more effectively communicate, plan, influence, and manage sustainability initiatives.

The case studies and networking sessions aim to foster collaborations among participants and invited enterprises and organisations.
