EIT Health Director of Business Creation Dr Kurt Höller will give the opening address and EIT Health will bring 20 start-ups to showcase their innovations during the Digital Novel Coronavirus Investment Forum, an online event organised by Sachs Associates with collaboration from EIT Health.
EIT Health is also scheduled to take over the final session of the conference with the announcement of the winners of the Start-up Rescue Instrument, an EIT Health Accelerator programme to provide support to start-ups that are struggling due problems caused by the COViD-19 pandemic. Kurt Höller and Joy Cürten, Head of Accelerator at EIT Health, are scheduled to lead that session.
The goal of the Digital Novel Coronavirus Investment Forum is to bring together key stakeholders online for a forward-looking analysis of the revolution in healthcare caused by the pandemic and the consequent exciting drive for innovation in the life sciences, healthtech and digital sectors.
EIT Health-backed start-ups presenting
The 20 start-ups supported in participating by EIT Health will be among more than 40 companies enjoying a special showcase at the forum. These companies will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to relevant investors in five-minute presentations and will gain free access to an online system that allows one-to-one meetings with leading investment companies.
