EIT Jumpstarter Grand Final at the Digital Freedom Festival

EIT Health, together with EIT Food and EIT Raw Materials, announce that this year's EIT Jumpstarter Grand Final pitch competition will be held as a side event of the Digital Freedom Festival. The best of the 90 teams involved in the 2019 edition of the award-winning Jumpstarter training and mentoring programme will pitch their innovations for a chance to win prizes of up to EUR 10 000.

Now in its third year, Jumpstarter has provided training to 90 teams – 30 teams from each of the EIT Innovation Communities of Health, Food and RawMaterials. All of these teams went through two intensive periods: six business-planning bootcamps in spring and further business skills, training and mentoring in the autumn. The Grand Finals will celebrate the best of these teams.

The Digital Freedom Festival describes itself as 'a multi-event platform where the geeks of the digital era meet with policymakers to solve problems caused by the clash of the digital and analogue worlds.'
