EIT Community stories you may have missed the last week of February 2019

EIT Community stories week ending 1 March 2019

We began the week with the news that EIT Food had welcomed seven new core member partners to the EIT Food Community.

On Tuesday, a story about cats. Not really, but kind of. EIT Climate-KIC supported Ÿnsect has announced that it has raised EUR 110 million, becoming a global leader in alternative protein.

Wednesday saw the news that EIT RawMaterials project RawMatCop is working with UN Environment on sustainability solutions.

On Thursday, we told you that EIT Food is looking for evaluators and that EIT Health's InnoStarter platform helps entrepreneurs find the Accelerator programme that can help them .

Today we reported on something a little different: EIT InnoEnergy was honoured with the title “The one who changes Polish industry”.

And by the way, we also published an Ex-ante notice for the provision of legal services to the EIT, told you about the launch of an EIT Innovation Hub in San Francisco, and about an EIT Awareness Day in Riga

And there's lots more that we didn't have time to add:

Galgus, a Spanish deep tech scale-up based in Sevilla, who joined the EIT Digital Accelerator. Galgus' technology increases WiFi performance by up to 400%.

Smart Global Privacy, provider of a comprehensive software infrastructure for GDPR and other major privacy regulations compliance, joined the EIT Digital Accelerator.

EIT InnoEnergy announced a 'Law for academic innovators' course focusing on IP law, and EIT InnoEnergy MSc EMINE alumnus Eirik Eide Pettersen achieves the Forbes “30 Under 30 Europe” list.
