The Master School offers graduates two master degrees from two European top universities plus a certificate from the European Institute of Technology (EIT).

The EIT Digital Master School aims to train professionals with state-of-the-art technical excellence in key digital technology areas combined with strong expertise in innovation and entrepreneurship. It does this in cooperation with 20 leading technical universities in nine countries and research and industry partners across Europe.

EIT Digital offers eight master school programmes in: Cloud Computing and Services, Data Science, Embedded Systems, Digital Media Technology, Human Computer Interaction and Design, Internet Technology and Architecture, Security and Privacy, Software and Service Architectures. During the two-year course of study, students learn at two different universities, complete a work placement and also a two-week summer school programme.

Above all: by studying at EIT Digital, students are part of an extraordinary ecosystem of entrepreneurs, companies, students and alumni across the whole of Europe. Near 1,200 digital entrepreneurs have already completed the EIT Digital Master School. 100% of alumni are employed (76%) or are continuing in PHD-programmes (24%). One third of those who are employed secured jobs before completing their studies. 89% of alumni work in Europe and 98% in the technology sector. 58% state that they plan to start their own company within two years of graduation.

Dr Patrick Hartigan, Head of the EIT Digital Master School, says that European society is in need of technically educated people with entrepreneurial skills. 'There is a heavy and increasing need for premium IT masters in Europe. This programme seeks out the best students from across the EU and beyond. It then equips them with cutting-edge technical knowledge and business skills so that they can go on to help assure Europe's role in the global digital economy. This is a unique opportunity where learning to think as an entrepreneur is a key criterion.'
