The EIT is hiring an IT Officer.

DEADLINE EXTENDED - IT Officer

The IT officer profile will in principle report to the Head of Services and Finance Unit. However, upon need, he may also support and report to other units of the IT.

The tasks of the IT Officer may include the following::

• Install, configure, monitor, and administer computer systems and networks, both physical and virtualised, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, Office365, telephone and videoconferencing

• Contribute to the management of IT security and user access rights

• Ensure proper configuration and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, including the follow up of IT incidents and requests and IT inventory

• Support the EIT grant management IT tools and the EIT’s integration to Commission tools such as E-Grants, CORDA

• Document and Knowledge management with Business Intelligence tools using data mining and data modelling

• Assist in the design, writing and deployment of ICT strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines, contribute in the drafting of technical specifications for procurement needs

• Provide user training related to the above fields
