KIC InnoEnergy Benelux proudly presents 9 new products in its new offices

Four finished projects & five graduated ventures, that’s the result presented by KIC InnoEnergy Benelux during the inauguration of its new offices today.  Just recently we moved, together with KIC InnoEnergy SE, to the Kennispoort building in Eindhoven. First occasion to invite our network and partners was this closing ceremony for four of our first innovation projects and the graduation of 5 ventures, having ran the full KIC InnoEnergy Highway. CEO Klaas Schuring: ‘Today we presented our future with the projects and ventures, this new office will support that future’.

The commercialising partners of these innovation projects proudly presented the following innovative products:

• Energy Supply Cooperative – Energy autartic, environmentally friendly residential quarters.
• Estore – Electrical energy storage device for cold stores
• Energy Storage / Solab Cool – thermochemical heat pump running on heat from district heating or waste heat
• Micro Turbine Technology – Micro Combined Head and Power system that produces warmth and electricity for domestic use

The five ventures that graduated today from the KIC InnoEnergy Highway were thanked for their efforts by Elena Bou, Innovation Director of KIC InnoEnergy: ‘More wrinkles and less hair. In the US, they admire entrepreneurs and we should learn that from them. Thank you for your devotion and dedication.’

• Ecovat – Thermal storage of renewable energy and its integration in a Hybrid Microgrid.
• Elestor – Revolutionary low-cost electricity storage in a hydrogen-bromine flow battery
• Enervalis – Cloud-based software for electricity producers, storage providers and consumers to save of make money
• iBuildGreen – Online platform to configure and calculate the energy saving options of residential buildings
• Watch-E – Creation of a web-based application for energy saving through a system of awareness and reward
