KIC InnoEnergy supported start-up ZaaK Technologies GmbH wins award in “Landmarks in the Land of Ideas”

Good news – With their project “Smart Sand”, ZaaK Technologies GmbH is one of the lucky award winners in the Germany-wide competition “Landmarks in the Land of Ideas 2016”. ZaaK is an innovation and technology development start-up company supported by KIC InnoEnergy focusing on recycling industrial wastes into high value products.

ZaaK Technologies GmbH enforced their position against 1 000 competitors. The goal of the competition “Landmarks in the Land of Ideas” is to provide masterminds an opportunity to present their innovative projects and to enforce the performance power of the locations in Germany.

The award highlights the potential contribution of Smart Sand towards a green circle economy and completes the received innovation award Berlin Brandenburg 2015 and the Indian innovation award of DST-Lockheed Martin 20015.
