Imagine building a product atom by atom – smaller, faster, and cleaner than ever before. This is exactly what ATLANT 3D, supported by EIT Community, has made possible.
Founded by Ukrainian innovators now based in Denmark, ATLANT 3D develops a “nano-factory” platform that prints materials layer by layer at the atomic scale, enabling breakthrough advances in semiconductors, sensors, and even space technology.
The impact is immediate. What once took months to prototype can now be done in hours, accelerating research while reducing waste and cost. One strong example is their collaboration with major semiconductor players such as STMicroelectronics and Sony. Using our Direct Atomic Layer Processing Technology, they were able to explore new material integrations and device architectures faster than traditional methods allow. This has opened new paths for innovation in electronics and photonics.
Beyond technology, ATLANT 3D embodies the values of resilience and ingenuity, leading a diverse, international team that’s redefining what’s possible in advanced manufacturing.
Coming from Ukraine and building a company in Denmark represents the union of creativity, courage, and collaboration.

From Startup to Global Impact
ATLANT 3D’s journey took a decisive turn when they joined EIT Jumpstarter, the pan-European pre-accelerator programme. At an early stage, the team sought mentorship, market insights, and validation for their groundbreaking idea.
The EIT Community provided access to an invaluable network of investors, corporate partners, and industry experts. It also gave us credibility and visibility, accelerating our transformation from a promising startup to a globally recognized deep-tech company.

Their initial passion for nanotechnology, born from frustration at slow, inefficient material development, found direction through EIT Community’s guidance, helping ATLANT 3D turn atomic-scale innovation into real-world impact.
The company also benefited from the Catalyse NEB programme, which supported sustainable practices and expanded their international presence. This enabled ATLANT 3D to participate in global tech events, deepen strategic partnerships, and gain recognition as one of Europe’s most promising nanotech innovators.
Deep tech ventures require both long-term vision and strong networks. EIT Community bridges the gap between science and market, helping innovators turn research into real-world impact, something critical for Europe’s competitiveness and sustainability goals.
