Spanish Technology Centre, Eurecat, is opening their laboratories for mask testing to guarantee their effectiveness. The EIT Health partner will tests masks, as well as the components necessary for the manufacturing, by validating its effectiveness at the level of filtration bacterial, breathability and microbial cleaning.
Manufacturers that have started to design and produce masks using different technologies, will now be able to know if they comply with the requirements that protect the mask users.
