The EIT is now organising a call for expressions of interest with a view to establishing a reserve list for Temporary Staff (TA) for the profile of Human Resources Coordination Officer. The place of employment will be Budapest, where the EIT seat is located. Applications from female candidates are strongly encouraged.
Reporting directly to the Head of Administration Unit, the Human Resources Coordination Officer will coordinate the Human Resources section within the EIT in order to ensure the staff commitment, efficiency and competence.
Tasks
In particular, the tasks of the Head of Section will include the following:
- Ensuring an efficient coordination of the Human Resources Section, including timely and qualitative provision of AWP deliverables;
- Contribute to the Administration Unit's strategic planning and policy formulation;
- Under the supervision of the Head of Unit define the Human Resources Section's mission, strategies and objectives;
- Oversee the work of the Human Resources Section, ensuring effective distribution of tasks and responsibilities amongst its staff;
- Monitor and evaluate the fulfilment of objectives and the Section's staff performance;
- Contribute to the drafting of the annual, multi-annual planning cycles regarding Staff (Work Programme, Single Programming Document and similar documentation), and ensure accuracy of reporting;
- Coordinate and contribute to all processes related to the main Human Resources areas such as: Staff administration, selection and recruitment, training and career development, appraisal and reclassification contract renewal;
- Develop and implement all Human Resources policies, practices and procedures, ensuring compliance with the EU legal framework (i.e. Staff Regulations and Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Union, relevant Implementing Rules);
- Ensuring effective internal communication within the EIT concerning the work of the Section;
- Implementing and managing the human and financial resources allocated to the HR Sector;
- Preparing briefings, statistics and other documents in the field of HR management;
- Enhance a positive work environment by promoting diversity and inclusion, ethical and respectful behaviour;
- Represent the Unit/Agency in internal and external meetings;
- Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service as required by the Head of Unit Administration.
