Through a competitive programme of funding, mentoring and training, the EIT Health InnoStars Awards help start-ups to verify the need for their healthcare innovations, attract investors and shorten the time it takes to get their ideas to market.

Is it for me?

EIT Health InnoStars is suitable for micro- and small enterprises, spin-offs and start-ups that already have a prototype or minimum viable product but do not yet have a product or service on the market. Applicants must have a legal entity in one of the following countries: Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

The programme

Start-ups accepted to the EIT Health InnoStars Awards programme receive EUR 25 000 in 'smart money', four months of mentoring from one individual and training at two European Bootcamps. Participants also take part in interviews with potential customers, investors or partners, and have access to the support and potential investor connections available from EIT Health’s Investor Network and EIT Health’s Living Labs and Test Beds network.

In the Finals, start-ups with the best business plans pitch for up to EUR 25 000 to support the launch of their product or service.
