The company hopes to use their catalyst materials to decarbonise the energy and transport sectors. Recognised as the Slovenian Start-up of the Year 2023, ReCatalyst's achievements include winning the EIT Jumpstarter Grand Final and successfully completing all three phases of the EIT Raw Materials Accelerator.  The EIT Community's support has been pivotal, aiding ReCatalyst's growth with guidance, financial assistance, and expert interactions.

By being included in the EIT RawMaterials community, the company evolved, learning how to build a company while being supported with critical finances. An important part of the EIT Community was the support of the business developers as well as the experts in ACP 3. Interaction and discussions with ‘outsiders' who have prior experience in business is invaluable for any founder when faced with multiple questions yet limited sources to obtain answers or choose the best next move.
