EIT Raw Materials@ i-SUP2016 Conference - Twin Idea Camp on Circular Industry

VITO and EIT RawMaterials invite you to participate in a twin event to trigger and share your ideas about innovation for circular industry. In two simultaneous and connected idea camps (Antwerp and Espoo)  we will explore new business concepts and innovative technologies to support circularity in the raw materials industry.

Choose your topic and decide where you want to participate:

• Antwerp (Belgium): Which technological breakthroughs can bring innovation to recycling?
• Espoo (Finland): How to make money from better management of materials and residues?

Prepare your idea now and participate in our idea pitching sessions:

• Students: Present your recent Master thesis (2015 or 2016) and win the StudentAward
• EIT RawMaterials partners: Present your innovative technology or business approach and initiate new KAVA activities
• Start-ups and SMEs: Present your business and get endorsed by an EIT RawMaterials partner

We are especially looking for ideas in the fields of:

• Innovative separation and recycling technologies
• Upcycling concepts for complex materials
• High value secondary products
• Waste collection concepts and systems
• Going circular: strategies for implementation
• Business concepts to generate profit from residues

Presenters get the opportunity to have a 5 minutes pitch of their innovative idea. Send your proposal, as a 10 lines text to ideacamp2016@vito.be before Thursday 15 September, 12:00 CET.

Participants will get a prime view of new ideas in the field and the chance to build collaborations for new KAVA activities.
