What is shopfloor connectivity?
Shopfloor connectivity is the connection of your assets (ex: production lines, machines, or tools) to sensor data for machine learning, real-time safety mechanisms, digital twins, efficiency monitoring, resource savings, and more both on-premise and in the cloud. During the half-day event you'll get inspiring presentations from experts, users, and start-ups covering how to best optimise the use of all of these tools.
In today’s world where electricity, gas, raw and auxiliary materials, consumables, and production downtimes are quickly rising towards multi-digit costs, industrial companies can benefit from using all the data that accumulates on their shopfloor. And best of all, it can all be automated and used in real time! Even old machines can be retrofitted to be "smart" at relatively low cost.
