KIC InnoEnergy: Start-up Worldcoo launches its first co-funding cooperation action for an energy project

The start-up Worldcoo, supported by KIC InnoEnergy, has started working in 2013 in a Renewable Energy-related Project called “Solar Equipment for the Agroforestry School of the Dindefello Community", in Senegal.

The main objective of the project is to improve the agroforestry skills of the local community, in order to sustain a habitat suitable for the survival of the West African chimpazee.
Worldcoo´s venture consists of an interactive network, where members propose energy-related projects for international cooperation, and both businesses and people have the chance to fund them. As part of Worldcoo´s cooperation with KIC InnoEnergy, the start-up attended the Networking Day meeting on last Wednesday, February 6th, where its co-founders, Sergi Figueres and Aureli Bou, addressed the KIC Masters students to talk about their experience in creating a new business.
