KIC InnoEnergy's KICkoff finals will serve as an industry match-making event

Calling Central and Eastern Europe’s sustainable energy players!

KIC InnoEnergy, the innovation engine for Europe’s energy industry, will host the KICkoff finals in Warsaw on the 20thSeptember 2016.

The awards ceremony and conference will offer a unique networking opportunity for the sustainable energy industry in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Event visitors will have the opportunity to engage with the newest innovations and business ideas in the sector.

Speakers at the event include Jason Saltzman, an American technology entrepreneur and co-founder of Alley NYC, a community of entrepreneurs, creators and tastemakers, and Paul Papadimitriou, expert in the emerging digital revolution and its transformative effect on businesses, founder of Intelligencr, an innovation strategy firm.

'This event is a platform for the region’s brightest minds in the sustainable energy industry to come together to trade ideas, meet potential investors and transform innovations into commercial realities,” says Christo Balinow, Business Development Manager, North America, CEE and Middle East, KIC InnoEnergy. “KIC InnoEnergy is calling sustainable energy players to come together at this event to support the development of new ideas in the space.'

The awards ceremony at the event will honour the most noteworthy inventors, start-ups and SMEs in CEE. Sustainable innovators have entered the awards to be in with a chance of winning the €10,000 first prize. Two runners up will receive €5,000 and €3,000.

The winners will also receive high-level mentoring, business model evaluation and a chance to enter the KIC InnoEnergy Highway® accelerator with access to support and investment of up to €150,000.
