Exciting news for women-led tech start-ups worldwide! The Supernovas Rocket Up programme is now accepting applications for its 2025 cohort, marking the first time it's open to start-ups outside Europe. This initiative is designed to support women entrepreneurs in expanding their ventures into the European market.
About Rocket Up
Rocket Up is a six-month internationalisation programme tailored for women-led tech start-ups aiming to scale their businesses into new European markets. The programme offers:
- Market Selection Guidance: Identify and validate the most promising European markets for your product or service.
- Strategic Planning: Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, including product localisation, marketing, distribution channels, and talent acquisition.
- Mentorship and Networking: Connect with industry experts, mentors, and potential partners to navigate the complexities of new markets.
Programme Structure
The programme is divided into three parts:
- Choose Your Market (Months 1-3): Participants work on identifying success factors in their home market, translating them into parameters to measure the potential for new markets, to finally understand their opportunities. This is done taking into account their customer needs, pricing, culture, regulation, competition, among others. Additionally, participants define and execute a validation strategy to corroborate their geographical markets expansion priorities.
- Plan Your Strategy (Months 3-6): The programme reviews important factors for a successful expansion planning, such as product localisation, communication and marketing needs, distribution channels, differences in business cultures, talent recruitment and fundraising for international expansion. Start-ups learn how to define their successful entry strategy, understanding best practices in relation with partnerships in target market and defining an implementation plan.
