The EIT partners with SEC2IL

EIT SEC2IL

The EIT is supporting the organisation of Startup Europe Comes to Israel (SEC2IL).

SEC2IL will be held between 2 and 4 June in Tel Aviv by Mind the Bridge, as part of the European Commission’s Startup Europe Partnership.

The EU mission named Startup Europe Comes to Israel (SEC2IL) is modeled around the successful format of SEC2SV (Startup Europe Comes To Silicon Valley). SEC2IL and SEC2SV are formats created and organised by Mind the Bridge as part of the Startup Europe Partnership (SEP) initiative. The SEC2IL 2019 programme will include workshops, meetings with corporates, investors, start-ups and universities plus networking events. An SEP Scale-up Summit will take place in the context of SEC2IL (3 June), and will involve high-level policy makers, investors, start-ups and top business executives from both Israel and Europe, including representatives of the EIT and its Innovation Communities. Keynote speakers will include Ambassador Emanuele Giaufret, Head of Delegation of European Union to the State of Israel; Vasco Oliveira Janeiro, Impact Officer, EIT; Isidro Laso Ballesteros, Deputy Head of Innovation Ecosystems, DG for Research and Innovation, European Commission; and David Dana, Head of VC Investments.
