Finance Assistant

We are looking for a Finance Assistant for 6 months (with possibility of extension) to support our finance section in our headquarter in Budapest.

Tasks

• Data entry and financial initiation of invoice and claims on Title 2 in ABAC
• Back-up data entry and financial initiation for Title 3
• Back-up for MIPs and NEO;
• Recording legal commitments in ABAC
• LEF/BAF registrations
• Management of ARES workflows
• Management of VAT certificates for contractors
• Management of physical archives for FIN
• General administrative support to Finance team and the Head of Unit Administration

Professional experience

• Proven professional experience in the fields of finance and budget;
• Experience and knowledge of the functioning of financial circuits, financial controls of contracts and invoices; 

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education attested by a diploma or secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education and appropriate relevant professional experience of at least two years 

Advantageous

• Administration, missions management
• Experience in the financial management of EU funds;
• Good knowledge of the EU Financial Regulation;
• Knowledge of ABAC, MIPs, ARES, DWH, SAP (EU tools)
• Experience in developing and improving financial procedures 

Language Skills

• Proficient command of the English language 

IT Skills

• Computer literacy and in particular good knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Office and Internet
