Join EIT as Content Editor (Interim) for the duration of 12 months (with possibility of extension).
Tasks:
- Support the creation and editing of compelling and SEO-friendly content for the EIT’s tools and channels. Write engaging content for the web, articles, newsletters, etc.
- Draft, review and edit content for different channels and tools, including factsheets, reports and impact stories.
- Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely publication and consistency.
- Ensure that content is clear, concise, and engaging for the target audience, while maintaining the appropriate tone and style.
- Collaborate with team members to understand the content objectives and deliver high-quality content, turning complex topics into compelling content.
- Review content structure and layout to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines and compliance with best practices.
- Proofread all content before publishing and ensure consistency.
- Prepare the content to be published, publish it, and improve already-published content.
- Ensure the regular review and update existing web content and design elements to maintain relevance and accuracy.
Professional experience:
- Proven 3 years work experience as an English-speaking content editor
- Proven 3 years hands-on experience in content management and creation
Qualifications:
- Bacherlor in communications, marketing, business, EU affairs
- A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma
- Minimum of three years' relevant experience in the field or four years in the case of completed university studies of less than four years
- Where justified in the interest of the service, professional training of an equivalent level
Advantageous
- Masters in communications, marketing, business, EU affairs
Language skills:
- Excellent level of written and spoken English (C2)
IT Skills:
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal, WordPress
- Very good knowledge of Words and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Very good knowledge of Drupal (Advantageous)

- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
